Keep On Your Feet
The Foot, Ankle & Gait Clinic
Cancellation Policy
Reason for our cancellation policy

Podiatry appointments in Swansea are quite limited, with long waiting lists - both for private podiatry and NHS podiatry.

With that in mind, any appointments which are booked must be attended. Where appointments are not attended, it means that someone else misses out on an appointment that could help them.

There also remains the issue that Keep On Your Feet is an independent clinic that relies on attended appointments in order to be able to keep our doors open.

Late Cancellations & Missed Appointment Fees
Any appointments which are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may incur the full appointment fee and no further appointments will be allowed to be booked until the missed appointment fee has been cleared.
Any appointments which are booked as a 'new patient' through the online portal will also incur the previous missed appointment's fee.
Any appointments which are not attended, without any notice, will be charged the full appointment fee.
If the appointment that you fail to attend is offered free of charge or at a discounted rate, then the appointment's full fee (or an appointment of equivalent duration) will be charged.

Will the cancellation fee be applied to every missed appointment?
No, like you, I'm human and I know that sometimes life gets in the way of our best efforts to make it to appointments, so compassion will be applied where appropriate.
In some instances, you may only be asked to pay upfront for rescheduled appointments.

The discretion that is applied will depend on a number of factors and is ultimately the decision of Keep On Your Feet.
